My name is Aiysha Mughal and I have been providing play therapy and creative counselling sessions to a range of children and young people aged 4+ in the Bedfordshire area. I also provide supervision to training and qualified therapists. I have also recently been creating made to order symbols, miniatures and resources for play therapy toolkits
PLAY THERAPY AND COUNSELLING USING CREATIVE ARTS
I work with children and young people experiencing a wide range of issues and difficulties. These include self esteem, friendships/peer relationships, loss, bereavement, parental separation, divorce, domestic abuse, anxiety, anger (emotional regulation), abuse (all forms), attachment issues and conditions such as ASD and ADHD. I also have a background in working with Looked After Children (LAC) and adopted families. I also work with children/young people with SEN.

The sessions usually take place at the child/young person's school. Meetings are usually held with school and parents/carers. There are also regular reviews as part of the intervention.

Additional Services
In addition to play therapy and counselling with children and young people, I am also a Filial Play Coach. This involves working with parents/carers/adopters to build strong bonds and foster positive attachments with their children, especially in the long-term.
This intervention is also great for supporting the child/young person through a recent difficult experience they may be going through.

CLINICAL SUPERVISION
I am also a Clinical Supervisor trained with PTUK, and provide face to face or online supervision to qualified and trainee practitioners.
